What is the ROBLOX:If Project?
The ROBLOX:If Project (shortened as RBLX:IfProj) is a worldbuilding project that aims to tell multiple stories in the Robloxian universe, as well as give way for other people to use the universe for their own works too. While this wiki will give knowledge to how certain things operate within Robloxia, it will also have official stories by the creator to build on the lore. These stories will be told in various forms of media.
I aim to make RBLX:IfProj suitable for the following storytelling mediums:
- Literature
- Games
- Animation
- Graphic Novels/Manga/Webcomic
- Roleplay (yes, Roleplay!)
What is the purpose of this Wiki exactly?
This wiki will have everything you need to know about the Robloxian Universe. Everything down to how it works, important landmarks, different cities, worlds, events, you name it. This is a worldbuilding project for a reason! There will also be a Characterpedia for information about characters and their place in the world.
Community-created info?
While this wiki is mainly managed and created by me, I plan to open the possibility for community-contributions soon. RBLX:Ifki is currently being hosted via Neocities, so if community-created content comes to the site, the process of an OC submission to be counted as official will most likely take a tedious process.
Profiting off of your ROBLOX:IfProj work.
There are certain guidelines I have to enforce when it comes to profiting off of ROBLOX:If Project and it's elements.
- Content made with RBLX:IfProj's worldbuilding can only be profited off of only if it is hosted on the ROBLOX platform. This goes for mainly games, but other fanwork can be applied. I allow people to make RBLX:IfProj based UGC (User Generated Content) catalog items on the ROBLOX platform, as long as proper credit to the source is applied.
- I will not allow profit off of fanwork if it is not on the ROBLOX platform. This is mainly to avoid copyright issues. This guideline will mostly be policed on games, fan comics, or any other storytelling medium that is used for fanwork.
- YOU WILL NOT MAKE NFTS (NON-FUNGIBLE TOKENS) BASED ON RBLX:IF PROJ. This shouldn't need much explaining, but:
- It will directly violate the second guideline.
- You will run into copyright issues from ROBLOX corporation.
- I am also uncomfortable with it. I have a personal opinion against NFTs.
In addition, anything else cryptocurrency based involving RBLX:IfProj is prohibited.
Proper credit of the project if used in fanwork (profit or not) is not necessary, but appreciated. Please refrain from saying you have created and/or were involved in the worldbuilding creation of RBLX:IfProj if you are not a community contributor.
